Sonic 3

This is my letterboxd report of Sonic 3 that i didnt post directed by jeff fowler. This is the link to the report. i’m on my phone so i cant format it correctly. Sorry

i hated the beginning because it was so corny. it got good when double jim carrey and his boyfriend showed up. i loved them. shadow was also probably the best character. sonic's voice pissed me off because it felt too high, and so was tails'. i couldn't unhear idris elba as knuckles, and he was lowkey annoying to me. the scene when eggman and his grandfather say "it's almost like we're characters in a movie played by the same person..." was absolutely peak. i loved the scenes with sonic and shadow, but i kinda hated how fast paced the beginning was with shadow's backstory. no sonadow. "ok hot topic" was a reference to snapcube and i love it. there was a really big group of kids which freaked me out. i would assume it was a class of some kind, but it was probably summer camp. there was a kid next to me who wouldn't stop fucking looking at me. stone and eggman was peak doomed yaoi. they killed shadow, but i'm pretty sure he's gonna return. unless, of course, he doesn't. in the scene when the two dudes are in that room with the usb stuff and they have to blow on the thing to get it to work, that's funny, but i didn't like how they kept going with it. blowing in the port is funny because it's a 90's thing, but saying it's a 90's thing out loud and all that jazz about "the best generation" was so corny. like doing the thing is funny enough, but continuing to speak about it is like milennial core complaining about gen z cancelling eminem and my dad used to beat me as a kid and i drank from the hose as a kid and im fine SHUT UP JEEZ. holy corny. but also in that scene, when they saw eggman's usb, they couldn't just take it out? also, jesse's girlfriend, jane, was that one woman. speaking of her, that scene with eggman's grandfather saying something about "women in the military" was funny. yes, that ideology is not funny but that's dark humor at the works. it gives way to his character and how fucking old and decrepit he is. duhh he hates women. wait until he finds out about sonadow. wait until he finds eggman mpreg.

overall the movie was ok
